Hello I'm having a problem with Assassin's Creed Valhalla on my Xbox controller. Indeed, when I make my character walk/run, it sometimes stops as if it bumped into invisible walls. Iwas finally able to get Assassin's Creed to recognise my wireless XBox One controller after enabling the settings mentioned in the above link. Following OP's instructions was not enough. After you follow OP's x360ce instructions, you have to navigate to the 'Game Settings' tab, add Assassin's Creek and as per the above link, enable COM, DI
Its difficult, if not impossible, to play with the xbox one bluetooth controller. The camera control is on rt and lt trigger, the right stick is unusable, and the command Evenif you bought through Uplay you can use Steams controller support to make the game think you have an Xbox controller. If you bought through Uplay add it as a non-steam game. This article is old but should give you the gist of what to do.
